About
Dana Schachter
Yoga Teacher | Massage Therapist | Mind-Body Educator

I have been working hands-on with bodies since 1998, beginning my career as a massage therapist and deepening my understanding through decades of practice and continuing education. My approach to yoga is grounded in a deep knowledge of anatomy, the body in motion, mindfulness, and intuitive listening.
I’ve spent much of my professional life working privately with individuals because I love developing meaningful relationships with my clients—walking alongside them, witnessing their growth, and offering steady support along the way. I believe true transformation happens in spaces where we feel safe, held, and truly seen.
As a former certified Anusara yoga teacher, my training was both rigorous and expansive, with a strong emphasis on alignment, therapeutic application, and the deeper teachings of yoga philosophy. That solid foundation, combined with a willingness to think outside the box and a long-standing meditation and mindfulness practice, informs everything I share.
I discovered yoga at 20 while in massage school, and it was the first time I truly felt at home in my body—strong, capable, and deeply conected. That experience sparked a lifelong passion for helping others feel the same sense of belonging within themselves.
I love working with people in all stages of life, especially midlife and beyond. Life is full of change, and I believe these practices help us navigate transitions with grace, agency, and self-trust.
I offer personalized, empowering support. Together, we create practices that help you feel strong and resilient—so you can keep doing the things you love with greater ease and joy.
