Welcome to Practice Yoga

My name is Dana Schachter. I offer yoga that meets you where you are — personalized, intuitive, and grounded in 25+ years of experience. With years of teaching both individual and group classes, as well as a background in massage therapy and mindfulness, I help you build strength, ease, and resilience from the inside out. Whether you’re working with stress, stiffness,  shifting energy levels or hormones, our work together is designed to help you feel resourced and steady in the life you’re living now.

I have been practicing yoga for 30 years, and for the past two I have had the privilege of studying with Dana. She leads every class with profound intention- there's always a deeper purpose that might not be obvious at first, yet becomes beautifully clear by the time we reach savasana. The benefits are immediate, from improved mobility to a calmer mind. I can't recommend her classes highly enough.
